As a Network Engineer i had participation in various network projects both in Public Sector and in
Private such as:
1) Network design & implementation of the Public Insurance Institution of Greece.
This project included Cisco Switches & Routers, Cisco ASA for the perimeter security, Barracuda
Load Balancers. More than 100 points of presence, directly connected to the main infrastructure, in
the whole country with WAN (BRI and Serial).
2) Network design & implementation of Mesh Wireless Network in the Port Authority of Piraeus, with
Cisco Aironet, Cisco Wireless Controllers and Cisco Switches & Routers.
3) Design and configuration of site to site VPN with private banks with Cisco ASA.
4) Network design & implementation of Greek Police internetwork with Fortinet appliances.
5) Network design & implementation of Ministry of Development with Cisco Routers/Switches and
Cisco ASA and IPS for the perimeter security.
6) Network implementation of the information system in Public Transportations of Athens, with HP
MSM Wireless Controllers and HP5800 Layer 3 switches.
