Due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), the client's name cannot be disclosed. It was a high-traffic corporate website in the [optional: industry, e.g., healthcare, education, public sector].
My Tasks & Achievements:

My Tasks & Achievements:
- Migration and refactoring of customized TYPO3 extensions for compatibility with Extbase and Fluid according to current standards.
- Restructuring of TypoScript and TCA configurations taking modern best practices into account.
- Switch to a Composer-based setup for sustainable maintainability and easy upgrades.
- Completely redesigned frontend with focus on WCAG 2.1 and BITV 2.0 compliance.
- Implementation of ARIA roles, keyboard usability, optimized color contrasts and semantic HTML structure to improve accessibility.
- Performance optimization and improvement of mobile display to comply with Core Web Vitals.
- Setting up a CI/CD pipeline via GitLab CI and automated rollouts with Deployer .
- After the relaunch, a 50% increase in user interactions was observed, especially among mobile users and those who rely on assistive technologies.
