Architecture (MDF): Designed a custom relational data model using the Metadata
Framework to replace disconnected spreadsheets. Created a custom "Asset Type" object
to control business logic and linked it to the core Employee Profile.
Automation Logic: Scripted dynamic Business Rules (using DatePlus() function) to
automatically calculate Depreciation Timelines and prevent back-dated assignments,
ensuring real-time data validity.
Workflow Configuration: Configured a conditional Workflow that intelligently routes
requests based on asset value, forcing Manager Approval for high-value items (e.g.,
Vehicles) while auto-approving standard items.
Intelligent Services: Closed the lifecycle loop by implementing Alerts that proactively
notify employees via email when assets are due for return, eliminating manual HR follow-
ups.
