Project history
Worked as a Senior Software Engineer across core SaaS products at Threecolts, including the flagship Tactical Arbitrage platform and Dataspark, while also designing and building a unified backend for all company browser extensions.
Dataspark:
Led the full rebuild of the Dataspark client dashboard using Laravel, Inertia.js, Vue 3, and Tailwind. Designed and implemented a cross-browser extension (Chrome & Firefox) integrated with the dashboard. Introduced automated testing (unit and feature), establishing testing practices that previously did not exist.
Tactical Arbitrage (v2):
Contributed to the v2 release with backend improvements and UI modernization. Optimized high-load backend processes, improved complex queries, reduced algorithmic complexity, and refactored core logic using SOLID principles. Helped stabilize legacy components and modernize critical data flows.
Unified Extension Backend:
Designed and built a centralized backend platform for all browser extensions (Dataspark, ScoutX, Tactical Arbitrage). Implemented a modular Laravel 12 API with JWT authentication, rate limiting, permissions, and secure routing. Migrated legacy extension backends into this system, which became the single source of truth for extension functionality.
Collaborated closely with product, design, and management, improving performance, reliability, and overall code quality across systems.
Built Easybite end-to-end, a high-performance dine-in operating platform for modern venues, enabling real-time ordering, multi-role operations, and seamless customer experiences across devices.
Architected and implemented the entire backend and system design, including APIs, database modeling, real-time flows, internal services, and operational tooling.
