SAP PP CONSULTANT

1. Core SAP PP Functional Skills:   Master Data Management: Knowledge of Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centers, and Routing.   Production Planning: Understanding of different planning strategies (Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Demand Management).   Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Configuration and execution of MRP, lot-sizing procedures, and scheduling.   Capacity Planning: Load calculation, capacity leveling, and work center optimization.   Shop Floor Control: Order creation, scheduling, confirmation, and goods movement.   Repetitive Manufacturing & Discrete Manufacturing: Configuration of production processes.   Integration with Other Modules: Understanding how SAP PP interacts with MM (Material Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and QM (Quality Management).     2. Technical Skills:   SAP S/4HANA PP: Understanding new functionalities in SAP S/4HANA like predictive MRP.   SAP PP Configuration: Ability to configure PP settings in SAP.   SAP ABAP (Basic Knowledge): Understanding of tables, debugging, and basic coding for troubleshooting.   SAP Fiori & UI5: Working knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to PP.   Data Migration Tools: LSMW, BAPI, and IDocs for data transfer.     3. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:   Strong analytical skills to resolve production issues and optimize processes.   Ability to interpret production reports and KPIs.     4. Business & Domain Knowledge:   Understanding manufacturing processes and supply chain management.   Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 trends.     5. Soft Skills:   Communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.   Documentation and training skills for end-users.   Ability to work in a team and manage production planning projects.
