EMC Storage Implementation and administration Engineer

EMC Storage, VNX, Unity, XtremIO, VMAX, ScaleIO, Recover Point and VPLEX
 

• Having 10+ years of Professional experience as SAN Administrator, EMC VxBlock,Vx Racks Storage Implementation engineer.

• Having Design and Implementation experience on Converged and Hyper converged products like VxBlock & VxRack.

• Good knowledge of Architecture and internal components of EMC products (Unity,VNX, VMAX,Recover Point, Vplex, XremeIO & Scale IO and VNXe & Data protection components).

• Experience in Vblock , Vxblock, Vxrack deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in EMC Scaleio deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in EMC Unity deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in VNX deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Xtremio deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in VMAX deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in RecoverPoint and VPlex deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience deployments of Avamar and data domain systems.
• Good knowledge on VMware Virtualization, Esxi, networking.
• Installation, Configuration, Administration and Troubleshooting of ESX vSphere 6.0 and 6.5 Virtual Center.
• Creating Clusters for High Availability (HA) and Distributive Resource Scheduling (DRS)
• Configured Resource Pool, vMotion, Alerts, Alarms, NTP
• Migrating of Virtual Machines using vMotion.
• Creating Templates from VM’s, deploy VM’s from templates and allocate resources.
•  Good understanding of Backup Technologies: EMC Avamar & Data domain.
• Planning, Deployment, implementation, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of enterprise backup systems- EMC Avamar, Data domain.
• Good experience in Avamar using file level and image based backups Restore.
• Deployment of new virtual Avamar proxy using VMware Vsphere.
• Avamar upgrades.
• Expertise in SAN administration, configuring, and troubleshooting, performance tuning of storage products in multi-vendor Infrastructure.
• Expertise in Storage Area Networking aspects of RAID levels, SAN Topologies, SAN Fabric Management and Zoning.

• Understanding of storage virtualization techniques like RAID configurations, LUN Masking and Mapping.

• Create Zoning to host and Storage in Brocade & Cisco Switch level.
• Good experience in Storage Decommissioning process
• Good experience in troubleshooting storage connectivity issues at Fabric and Storage Level
• Good Communication Skills to coordinate with stakeholders and internal support teams
