I am a Hands on Big Data Architect with total 16 yrs experience (Hadoop 3 yrs). I come from SharePoint and complex enterprise solutions development including Data Warehousing, migration ( I wrote a tool to migrate entire Sweden electrical network Oracle data to Enmac applying various transformations) background. Since last three years I have focussed on Big Data (Cloudera) as I find the technology very interesting and promising. My interest in Big Data started with a product development activity I had been working on for Infosys where help desk data was processed to provide intelligent recommendations to agents or call loggers as possible resolutions. I firmly believe that all future systems developed will have Big Data, machine learning element in them and will have to be reactive applications. To further my interest I have started a Hadoop training centre at Pune, India and since Nov 2014 I am working full time for the venture.
I have good aptitude for machine learning, higher mathematics and statistics and good at problem solving. I have good understanding of various domains like Banking, Risk, Insurance, Manufacturing, Utilities etc. I have worked in Agile, distributed deliveries. Have good experience with change, build management, deployment, testing, putting solution/architecture on paper with various diagrams using Visio to Rational toolset
