2–3 IT specialists to provide support in the areas of AWS, Kubernetes operations & observability

1. Project Objective

We are seeking at least two experienced IT specialists (m/f/d) to provide support for a client project in the areas of AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, and observability.

The focus is on the day-to-day operation, administration, configuration, and automation of existing cloud and Kubernetes environments, as well as on the implementation and use of relevant monitoring and analytics tools.

We are looking for candidates with solid practical experience who can independently handle both administrative and operational tasks.

2. Required Skill Set

AWS Cloud & Kubernetes (EKS)

• In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Several years of practical experience with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and functionality.

• Experience in setting up, installing, and configuring Kubernetes environments.

• Experience in operating, administering, and maintaining EKS clusters.

• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud operations.

• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing existing environments.

Automation & Infrastructure Management

• Experience in automating infrastructure and operational processes.

• Knowledge of configuring and administering cloud environments.

• Experience with the installation, implementation, and operation of relevant software solutions.

• Understanding of efficient and scalable infrastructure and operational processes.

Elastic Observability & Monitoring

• Experience with Elastic Observability or the Elastic Stack.

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability.

• Experience setting up and configuring monitoring solutions.

• Ability to analyze system states, logs, and operational data.

• Experience using relevant tools to identify and resolve issues.

AI-Powered Data Analysis

• Ideally, some hands-on experience using AI for data analysis.

• Knowledge of the benefits and applications of AI-powered analytics tools.

• Experience installing, configuring, and using relevant software solutions.

• Ability to use data analysis to optimize operational and infrastructure processes.

3. Duties and Responsibilities

The specialists we are seeking will primarily perform the following tasks:

• Operation and administration of AWS EKS/Kubernetes environments.

• Installation, configuration, and further development of the existing infrastructure.

• Ensuring stable and efficient operations.

• Automating recurring administrative and operational tasks.

• Setting up and maintaining monitoring and observability solutions.

• Operating and utilizing Elastic Observability.

• Analyzing and resolving errors and system failures.

• Evaluating and utilizing software solutions to optimize business processes.

• Evaluation and potential applications of AI for data-driven analysis and optimization.

4. Number and Seniority of Resources Sought

• We are seeking at least 2 IT specialists.

• Ideally, additional suitable resources can also be provided.

• Solid practical experience in the AWS and Kubernetes environments is expected.

• Candidates must be able to perform both administrative and operational tasks independently.

5. General Conditions

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Number: At least 2 resources

• Desired Start Date: Ideally before the end of the current calendar year 2026

• Profile: Experienced AWS/Kubernetes/EKS specialists

• Focus: Administration, configuration, automation, and day-to-day operations

6. Expectations for Candidates

We are not looking for pure architects or theoretical consultants, but rather hands-on specialists with proven practical experience.

Candidates should be able to understand existing environments and independently administer, configure, operate, and continuously optimize them.

Experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and Elastic Observability is particularly important.
