Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic & driven AppDynamics SME to join our Central Application Monitoring team.
This role will be based on client site in Houston.
You will be working with clients' (platform engineering and application teams), designing and implementing wide deployments of strategic Monitoring solutions across the infrastructure and applications.
The successful candidate will be providing subject matter expertise to target engineering and application teams, helping to improve the performance and efficiency across the development and testing stages as well as configure monitoring and alerting solutions for the production services teams.
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced AppDynamics Engineer/SME, ideally with client facing experience. (Not essential).
This role will be working on client site in Houston.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- Very Good working knowledge of AppDynamics.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools, performance management or analytics tools will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of mentoring/training junior members of the team.
- Proven background in application installation/deployment.
- Good understanding of the development life cycles.
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate with people at all levels and influence the progress of tasks.
- Experience in delivering presentations and training courses.
- Experience in writing technical documentation.
- Mandatory: Background in Application Support, Application Development, System Administration and/or Monitoring Tools.
- Application Support or Development Experience.
- Experience in working with both onshore and offshore staff, within a globally diverse team.
- Can work with internal and external Service Providers.
