Manning Global is recruiting an Application Software / BSS Engineer for our client, a global leading telecommunication company, to be based in Bucharest, Romania.

Position Title: Application Software / BSS Engineer
Position Type: 12 months rolling contract
Start Date: February 2017

Responsibilities:
- Hardware installations, commissioning, application and software integration (OCS, CBS, etc).
- Test activities: stand-alone test, integration test, acceptance test of applications and softwares.
- Technical and operations support for in service application and software elements.
- Application and software Bid support by producing deployment, swap and expansion solutions according to product features/ capabilities.
- Ability to create / update template documentation to reflect solutions provided.
- Analyze customer's existing systems to provide the necessary solution for their needs.
- Technical presentations and discussions with customers.
- Application and software Planning, Performance Analysis and Optimization.
- Weekly / monthly / quarterly reports on application and software performance to stakeholders.

Skills:
- Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer science or relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT, Charging system operations and maintenance.
- Experience of Unix / Linux OS and Oracle SQL.
- Troubleshooting skills - identify and rectify faults to meet the SLAs.
- Goal-oriented, good communication skills and a good team player.
- Customer relationship skills.
- Romanian and English language.
