You MUST have the following:
- Extensive experience as an Application Support Analyst/Engineer
- Good experience with trading applications for the front, middle or Back Office
- A background supporting in-house and 3rd party vendor applications
- Windows Server
- Linux
- SQL
- Three of the following:
- Kafka
- Ansible Tower
- Splunk
- Confluence
- Jira
The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:
- Knowledge of commodities
- SWIFT
- Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell etc)
Role: Application Support Analyst Engineer (Application Support Engineer Systems Settlements Clearing SQL Kafka Ansible Tower Splunk Confluence Jira Linux Red Hat Windows Server PowerShell Python Bash SWIFT SME 2nd Line Support Trading Trade Commodities Commodity Contract Front Office Finance Financial Services Banking Settlements Technology Technical Software) required by our financial services client in London. You will join a team of 12 application support analysts that support 40 in-house built and 3rd party vendor applications over front, middle and Back Office trading functions. These sit on Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, IIS, Apache Tom Cat, SQL, Informatica and Oracle. You may also use some Scripting. One of the applications is SWIFT. There may be some project work as part of the position too.
The company is based in The City of London and operates a hybrid working scheme- working in the office 2 days a week.
