Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS Infrastructure Administrator to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, cloud security, monitoring, and data platform operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage AWS-based data infrastructure using Amazon S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, and RDS.
Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, VPC, encryption, and governance.
Configure monitoring, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to deliver reliable analytics solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues and support enterprise data platforms.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS).
Experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
Knowledge of Data Lake architecture and data platform administration.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Strong understanding of IAM, VPC, encryption, cloud security, governance, and compliance.
Experience with CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
