**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Technical Data Architect to enhance and complete data analytics platforms for a leading organization. The role involves architecture design, documentation, and overseeing technical implementations for analytics platforms and business projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and document the analytics platform infrastructure.
- Manage technical implementations and address exceptions.
- Define and oversee technical architecture for new business use cases.
- Collaborate with other architects for solution validation and present solutions at IT Architecture Board meetings.
- Propel the evolution of data platforms, engage in technology watch, and suggest technical improvements.
- Participate in PaaS governance, document architecture, and offer guidance on specific technologies.
**Must-Have Skills and Experience:**
- Cloud Architecture Pattern (Senior, 5-8 years)
- DevOps, including Infrastructure as Code and Continuous Integration/Delivery (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Azure Data Skills, particularly Data Lake Gen2 and Synapse (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Experience in DataBricks (Mid-level, 2-5 years)
- Experience in Data Factory (Mid-level, 2-5 years)
- PaaS data lake setup (Mid-level, 2-5 years)
- Understanding of pipes principles and developments (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Awareness of IT industry best practices, especially in Data Analytics environments/systems (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Data Management knowledge, including metadata management, lineage, and data quality principles (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Database projects in Visual Studio (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Log Analytics (Mid-level, 2-5 years)
- Shared Datasets/Tabular Models (Mid-level, 2-5 years)
- Database modelling via tools like Erwin or Visio (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Architecture and analysis skills on database, ETL, and BI solutions (Senior, 5-8 years)
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements (Senior, 5-8 years)
