Job Description:
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
As an experienced analyst with hands-on knowledge of midstream/biofuels compliance process you'd be leading a team of experts developing cutting edge product for midstream/biofuels compliance.

Key Accountabilities
Able to link technical solutions with business strategy when working with business partners. Has knowledge of how competitors are using IT solutions to gain competitive edge, applies that knowledge to projects. Leading stakeholder management activities. Creates opportunities to make the stakeholder feel valued and develop trust.
Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, including health, safety, security, usability, data, and supportability considerations.
Participates in team effort to create new best practice material based on identified gaps. Serves as an SME for specific tools, techniques, or business areas.
Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Create clear documentation to communicate requirements and related information; keep updated to align with the solution over the project life cycle.
Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs and requirements, through testing and scope changes, to final solution.
Interact with software suppliers, designers and developers to understand software limitations, deliver elements of system and database design, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.
Configure and document software and processes, using agreed standards and tools.
Facilitate meetings and workshops at all user and management levels via design thinking and agile business analysis principles.
Work closely with the Product Owner and Product Manager to lead conflict resolution and obtain global agreement.
Define and write User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
Take ownership of the product backlog grooming.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and the team to prioritize the product backlog.
Work with the Scrum team on continuous story grooming and provide guidance on future stories.
Help define sprint goals and facilitate Agile ceremonies to ensuring objectives are met.
Validate that delivered software meets the stated user story acceptance criteria.

Key Skills/Knowledge:
Education and Experience
8+ years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of biofuels value chain and experience of working in Oil & Gas/Energy midstream/biofuels compliance
Practitioner agile business analysis/agile analysis. Eg. AAC or CBAP
Proven business analysis experience, preferably in an Agile environment
Ideally experience with tech platforms such as Azure, AWS, and tools such as ADO etc
Ability to comprehend end to end business processes, the technology to enable, and ability to create/drive transition plan to achieve digital end state.
Strong experience conducting business workshop, creating end to end processes, designing As Is/To Be system and process analysis using digital tools like Mural/ARIS or Microsoft Visio.
Strong interpersonal skills, communication, presentational skills and stakeholder engagement.
Should have prior delivery experience on working on large digital transformation programs that requires working closely with Product/Platform teams, Service owners, Product owners, Data architects, Integration architects, Solution architects, Change Managers and DevOps team to ensure success/end to end delivery of the program.
Proficient in developing technology adoption, collaborating governance models to deliver cost optimization, agility, efficiency and measurable business outcomes.
Ability to effectively work across complex vendor slate in heavily matrixed environment to achieve digital end state.
