For a project within a large CEE banking group, specifically in one of the Group Risk teams, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Business Consultant.
The project focuses on the integration of a new bank into the group structure, particularly in the area of risk models and their catalogue. The role will sit between business stakeholders, risk teams, and IT, ensuring clear communication, requirements management, and coordination across multiple parties.
This is a complex and niche topic, suitable for a business-oriented consultant with strong analytical thinking, solid stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work independently in a multi-location team across Vienna, Bratislava, and Warsaw
Job resposibilities:
• Support the integration of a new bank into the group structure from a business/analytical perspective
• Coordinate topics related to risk models and their catalogue • Act as a bridge between business, risk stakeholders, and IT • Gather, structure, document, and manage business and functional requirements • Lead structured discussions with stakeholders • Prioritise requirements based on business impact • Track project progress, open points, risks, and dependencies • Escalate issues when needed and propose possible solutions • Work with internal and external team members across Vienna, Bratislava, and Warsaw • Use standard tools and ways of working such as Jira and Scrum • Perform basic data analysis / EDA using SQL or Python where needed
Must have skill:
• Strong experience in business analysis and requirements management • Ability to manage a complex project from a business/analytical perspective • Experience with creating and managing functional requirements • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to lead structured discussions and align multiple stakeholders • Business-oriented profile with analytical thinking • Consulting profile, ideally with Big4 experience • Ability to prioritise requirements based on business impact • Ability to track project progress, escalate issues, and propose solutions • Basic knowledge of data analysis, e.g. SQL or Python • Experience with Jira and Scrum
Nice to have skill:
• Previous experience in risk / risk management • Experience in compliance, finance, or a regulated environment • Experience with risk models or model catalogue topics • Previous experience from Big4 or consulting environment • German or Polish language skills
