Business Project Manager Luxembourg. Contract 12 months.
I need veteran PM/Business focused. THE KEY is; you will Drive the work from A to Z. You need to deliver the piece of work. If you cannot demonstrate project that delivered on and had the SOLE responsibility of the project, please don't apply. If you have please highlight this to me. You will plan, work on business case, drive the project, get the requirements, document, work on all the strategic planning - and deliver and be responsible/accountable.
This will suit people used to fast pace change - project environment. If yow re part of a bigger program please don't apply. We need independent Business focused BA', PM's.
Lead - plan - document - strategic planning - talk to vendors - work on valuation - call here/there (asking people for information) will be your job!
You ensure - you define the business process and define - drive the solution. This is a PURE business development verses IT - there are of course some technical components.
EURO's DAY MAX, 12 months' duration with extension.
Immediate interview - (next week). Immediate start for the right person. We can wait 1-2 weeks for the right person.

I need 2 x BA's and 2 x PM's (or a hybrid PM/BA) . These need to be business focussed BA and PM's.
All 12 months' duration. All to start ASAP (we can wait 1-2-3 weeks for the right person).

The PM will be expected to do some BA work. There is a lot of work so it depends on you and your conversation with the client and where you can add the most value.
What is also key is that we need dynamic consultants, people who like and thrive in a fast pace environment, people who are friendly and open and who can go-get, go-do after minimum brief and direction from the client!
Rate MAX EUROS day all inc. If this does not suit you we can be flexible but it may rule you out. We will not be paying 800 euros day, no way. If 550 euros day does not suit please send me the best rate we can agree on. That does not guarantee that your CV will be sent - please also note tax and social security below.

JOB SPEC;
Business Analyst Luxembourg Finance/Financial/Banking.
We are looking for a veteran BA - same for PM's, someone who can "plug- and play", ie get to work immediately and understand;
KYC: Fund Accounting; Outsourcing - Operational Model Matrix, Oversight Models, someone who can map business process model flows, someone who can take workshops and notes from this, work on testing. BPMN is key. Business process reengineering is key. More project below.
Banking automation. The client in Luxembourg has just bought a company in the USA and this is why there is such a volume of work.
The ideal candidate IS; someone who can be given a short brief and run with it with little guidance, little support. The client is looking for autonomous, independent BA's & PM's who can DELIVER. IE; they own a subject/project and deliver on it. Business gap analysis. Someone who is passionate is also important - someone who likes their work, someone who can help the client and get deliverables.
You will be the only BA on the project; have you been the lone BA before. If you were 1 one of 5 BA's on a huge project I think this is less interesting.
Can the BA drive a deliverable to completion with bare minimum direction ??
Drive requirement and solutions.
The PM may have more focus on Risks and Issues and be able to act on them. Repeat: the PM will work on some BA work.
The team and Project:
You will drive strategic project work.
You will work on business cases.
You will be big on stakeholder management.
You will either own or be part of Strategic transformations projects.
You will plan and deliver, you will work on reporting, you will influence how projects start and how they are ran.
Project are moving quickly, progress is fast. Autonomy is key and knocking on the right doors to get the information you need to go forward.
This will suits dynamics, versatile hands on BA and PM and people who are happy to be in Luxembourg 5 days per week.
People commuting from abroad is also OK (but maybe not weekly as its tiring and expensive I'm sure!)
This can be hybrid. It could be that you prefer just PM work or pure BA. Together (you me and the client) will decide what is the best approach.
The JOB;
Projects: Bank automation, (swift) Integration of payment platforms. Business process re-engineering.
* Based on management request, develop solutions and/or elaborate suggestions for operational improvements and new products;
* Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the solutions and suggestions you have to develop;
* Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your work;
* Gain agreement, usually from senior management, of the best method of introducing your work to the business;
* Communicate the benefits of your work across the department and help to address any uncertainty and concern;
* Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to senior management when necessary;
* Support the staff and teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues;
* Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.
* Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organization as a whole;
We are looking for a veteran BA or PM or hybrid BA/PM, someone who has 10 years of BA background and who requires no micromanagement and can get started right away.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please note; you need to work via an umbrella company to pay tax and social security in country.
We need this done from day one. Tax and social security is circa 34%, the umbrella company pay you direct into your bank every month and the take care of all administrative work - insurance and so on. Simple, easy, legal and a must-do for EU contracts. You have nothing to do but the work you are contracted to do and send a time sheet at the end of the month. They charge 500 euros per month for their service but it's a simple one-stop-shop.
IDEALLY for this one year contract we can pay euros per day.
