My client are a small software company based in Glasgow, (30+ staff) that offers a broad range of services, from the provision of Cloud tools on a SaaS (Software as a Service) basis, to the outsourcing of Project Management delivery on a managed service basisDue to growth, my client is now looking for a software developer. The role covers assisting in the Software Development Life Cycle and beyond into the disciplines of product release strategy and version control.
You will be developing software applications for customers with high expectations using ASP.NET C#, SQL. Understanding functional specifications, design, and implement innovative, exciting and intuitive software solutions.
Essential:
- ASP.NET(4+) Web Forms / C#
- MS SQL Server 2008+
- OOPP, SOILD
- SOA
- IIS7.5+ (as user)
- Visual Studio 2010+
- Degree in computer science or a similar subject
- Competency with a recognized Source Control Management System (e.g. SVN/TFS)
Desirable:
- HTML/CSS/js
- Software Design Patterns
- Advanced software engineering methodologies
- Code Generators (IronSpeed)
- Mobile environment web development
