C# Developer - This is a long term contract requiring profound IT Risk and OpenShift knowledge for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Collaborating within the Risk IT team to advance our microservices stack in C#
- Updating and breaking down an old .NET Framework codebase to move it to .NET Core and OpenShift containers
- Developing WPF dashboards for streamlined operations of our Risk Operations team
- Aiding in transitioning our platform to utilize a Cloudera-based Data Lake platform
- Implementing Kafka-based streaming architecture to replace legacy interfaces to banking systems
Your experience/knowledge:
- Strong C# development experience
- Strong grasp of common algorithms, data structures and design patterns
- Expertise with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
- Experience in microservices architecture design, WPF, Python, Kafka, OpenShift is a plus
- Previous exposure to the financial services industry, especially within banking or risk calculation domains is advantageous
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
