Description
Architect, .NET, SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, MVC, WebAPI, Agile, Test Driven Development.Net C# Architect required for a 6 month opportunity to work with a leading Software consultancy in the Warrington area.
Application architect with at least 10 years' experience in designing and developing scalable applications required to design, build and deliver specific components within Online Platform application for the UK market place, working with other architects and product teams.
Technology Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in designing and developing scalable, high capacity, high throughput customer facing applications.
- 3+ years' experience on .NET 4.0+ web applications with SQL Server, some Oracle would be beneficial
- Advanced knowledge of C# 2.0 to 3.5.
- Knowledge of C# 4.0 an advantage.
- Experience of ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, MVC & WebAPI.
- A good understanding of the Microsoft Web technology stack and related technologies (i.e. IIS, MSDTC, COM+, MSMQ, etc.)
Skills
- Excellent OO skills and a good understanding of SOLID OO concepts and design patterns.
- Embraces the Agile Software Developer principles, patterns and behaviours.
- Able to communicate ideas well, as well as work through complex issues.
- Capable of researching and diving into the unknown on your own as well as working through and discussing solutions as a team member.
- Able to communicate system requirements through the use of appropriate documentation. (e.g. Context models and UML.)
- Give technical direction and support to product teams.
- Coach, mentor and offer training to other members of staff
