C#.Net Developer/Go Developer (GUI/Winforms/WPF/Golang/Redis, Investment Banking) - London - 6-12 month contract - £500-£700 a day
EPAM systems are looking to recruit an C#.Net Developer/Go Developer (GUI/Winforms/WPF/Golang/Redis, Investment Banking)
Job Overview:
You'll be based in London a small cross functional team working in an agile fashion to deliver enhancements to the Business platform. We are responsible for developing and maintaining a fully integrated platform for Portfolio/Modelling/Construction/Optimization. The team works in a flat structure and interacts closely with our business counterparts. The platform technology stack used is Winforms/WPF, WCF and SQL Server Database.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical and functional enhancements to Business IT platform
- work closely with end users to help shape solutions that meet their needs
- reduce complexity and improve stability/supportability of the platform
- share best practice and look at ways to improve the way we deliver software
- provide Level 3 support as required by the team
Skills & Requirements:
- excellent core C#/.NET (framework v3.5+) with strong experience in Object Oriented programming and Test Driven Development principles
- recent experience in rapid development using Golang and Redis
- recent experience in the development of all tiers of an enterprise application: GUI (Winforms/WPF), Services (WCF), messaging (TIBCO or MQ) and data integration
- experience improving older code bases as well as in using modern design patterns
- experience of code-reviewing, unit testing and continuous integration
- experience of working in a Scrum or Kanban framework with User Stories as the primary method of requirements capture
