Position: Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Rate: £220 - £275 per day Ltd (£75 per day travel expenses)

Main Purpose of the Job:
A vacancy has arisen within Operations for an EC&I Engineer to manage and deliver project activities.The Job Holder's short term responsibility will be to carryout Engineering Substantiation. The Job Holder will also be responsible for specifying and managing engineering activities.
The Job Holder will:
LC15 Engineering Substantiation
Design, evaluate and deliver the technical governance of projects.
Develop appropriate solutions for operational problems.
Write Technical Specifications.
Apply health, safety, environmental and waste management processes with engineering activities taking advice where necessary from appropriate specialists.
Monitor the implementation of plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project schedules, safety procedures and legislation.
Liaise effectively with regulators and stakeholders on specific projects.
Develop requirement specifications, technical specification and other design related documentation for major projects.
Qualifications:
Qualified to a minimum HND in Engineering or equivalent based on Engineering Council Standards for Engineering Technician.
Essential and Desirable Skills
LC15 Engineering Substantiation
Experience: 5 years C&I Engineering experience
Full Time Monday-Friday 37.9 hours per week
Temporary 12 months contract
Rate £220 - £275 per day Ltd
