Department Profile:
The Investment Management (MSIM) International Channel Marketing team is responsible for all marketing activity in Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA), Latam, APAC and Japan including institutional, intermediary, and consultant channels.
As a core function, Marketing drives client engagement through structured programs and differentiated thought leadership to support client promotions. Marketing encompasses the marketing planning, business and marketing management of channel-specific campaigns, graphic production for campaigns and communications, MSIM web platform and product messaging through media relationships, and the creation of industry-leading publications that promote IM as a top solutions provider and thought leader.
Channel Marketing partners with investment and product management professionals to produce industry-leading publications and foundational materials to support the MSIM marketing agenda as well as give shape and order to client base communications under the brand.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print, incorporating email, website and social media activity and package the campaign content according to specific local business relevance
- Work with Country Marketing Managers to align campaigns to local priorities, target audiences and specific clients' needs
- Create and maintain the overall campaign plans across International outlining objectives and timelines
- Brief all the relevant stakeholders on the execution plans and organize the joint efforts for each project
- Actively contribute to campaign idea generation providing best practice and new solutions based on experience and lessons learnt
- Search for best ideas an keep an innovative stance when deploying new projects
- Work with Country Managers to outline and measure the outcome of each campaign and work together to share results.
- Remain continuously "plugged-in" to the asset management industry and global macro-economic trends to effectively position the MSIM approach.
- Fully support internal marketing metrics and data process to provide full business reporting.
- Understand the Marketing agenda as it aligns to MSIM business goals. Set expectations and manage relationships accordingly to promote and drive towards these goals.

- Superior cognitive and writing abilities.
- Natural aptitude for networking and partnering across Firm region and divisional boundaries, leveraging internal and external relationships as peer and consultant, to foster long term relationships that ensure success.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Able to deliver timely projects in full, anticipating issues and quickly mitigating obstacles that may negatively affect deliverables.
- Strong attention to detail with "hawk-eye" for accuracy.
- Excellent dexterity in editing and re-purposing content for multiple distribution outlets including print, online and video.
- Strong ability to successfully implement change within a high pressure, time-sensitive environment, being open to the needs of the operation which may impact job requirements and/or working schedule
- Significant relevant experience from a similar background as a communications specialist or investment consultant for an asset management organization.
- Strong fundamental understanding of asset classes and investment process.
- Creative, driven, financial writer with passion for investment management
