Capital and Impairment - Forecasting - SASCurrently recruiting for a Senior Analyst based in London for a 6 months contract
Covering unsecured, secured and business banking portfolios the role provides a unique opportunity to engage with all aspects of the business and play a pivotal role in business planning activity.
Primary responsibility
- Develop statistical models and undertake regular Capital and Impairment forecasting to support business planning and regulatory requirements
- Provide analysis and insight across wider portfolio management team in support of growth initiatives, business and financial planning.
- Contribute to the Risk function through embedding and sharing best practice techniques and collaborate to achieve success for the wider team.
Candidate Profile
- Highly numerate and a logical thinker
- Proficient programming skills, for example SAS/SQL and VBA/Excel,
- Banking experience is crucial, ideally from a retail banking background.
- A strong understanding of Basel principles, profit and loss change, and the credit life cycle are desirable.
Daily Rate: £360 - £400
