Capital Markets Operations Analyst

An exciting opportunity to join a major programme within a leading global investment bank, supporting key operational functions across its Capital Markets business. Sitting within Operations, the role will provide support across Trade & Sales Support and Asset Servicing, working in a fast-paced markets environment and partnering with teams across the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support across Capital Markets activities
• Support Trade & Sales Support and/or Asset Servicing processes
• Work closely with Operations and relevant business stakeholders
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, exceptions and queries
• Support the effective processing and oversight of transactions throughout the operational life cycle
• Assist with process, control and operational improvements
• Work across teams to ensure issues are escalated and resolved appropriately
• Contribute to wider operational and change initiatives

What we're looking for

• Experience within Capital Markets Operations
• Background in Trade Support, Sales Support, Asset Servicing or a related Operations function
• Experience within an investment banking or capital markets environment
• Good understanding of operational processes supporting financial markets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience dealing with operational issues, exceptions or breaks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Exposure to operational controls and process improvement would be beneficial
