Description
THE PROJECT:An Electronics company who design Safety Critical products have an initial 6 month requirement (likely extension) for a Compliance / Certification Engineer.
For this role you should have experience driving electronic products to meet Functional Safety and Hazardous Certification standards (ATEX & IEC).
In this role you will be liaising with the in house Electronic Engineers and the Certification bodies, in order to achieve SIL3 certification (for the IEC 61508 standard). As such you should be someone who is confident building and managing relationships.
You should be someone who has a good understanding of Electronic product designs, as this will be needed to decide what is required to achieve Certification.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Compliance & Certification experience
2. Experience working to ATEX & IEC standards (e.g IEC 60079, IEC 61508)
3. Experience of Electronic product design
