For one of our end clients in The Hague we are looking for a Change Management Assistant.Start: Asap
Duration: 3 months with option to extend
Rate: 33 Euros per hour
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, convenes, and facilitates Change and Problem review meetings; records decisions made during change review meetings; maintains a schedule of approved and tentative system changes.
- Prepare, chair and close all I.M Change Management meetings.
- Assess for conflicts to I.M services and infrastructure changes, and other parts of the Business to ensure a steady and continuous operating environment is maintained.
- Control and manage changes to the production data and applications by scheduling changes to minimize impact Able to assess and advise change requesters to avoid clashes/conflicts around already scheduled Change requests, current IT problems and batch jobs.
- Verifies the completeness and timeliness of changes entered into the Change management system; follows up non-compliant changes made outside the change management process, and reports them to the Change Manager accordingly.
- Advises change requesters on scheduling future changes to minimize impact.
- Reviews implemented Changes to ensure that objectives have been met.
- Reports on backed out or failed Changes to the Change Manager accordingly.
- Updates and ensures the on-going data integrity of the Change and Problem management database, on a daily basis; processes and maintains change process documentation.
- Acts as the primary point of reference for questions, problems, suggestions, and complaints about the change management system, and escalates accordingly.
- Coordinates the team activities
- Assembles and maintains change and problem history records, and on call database. Receives, logs and allocates priority, in collaboration with the initiators, to all Request for Changes (RFCs).
- Assists in creating Change Models with relevant technical areas.
- Assists in data collection, updates and maintenance the Configuration items for the CMDB needed for the Changes.
- Assists in providing training to all technical staff on the Change process and procedures.
Skills required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A basic understanding of TSD and iET automated Problem and Change management systems, ITIL process, procedures, and documentation.
- The ability to read and interpret technical information in Change requests then communicate impact and risk in writing and over the telephone.
- ITIL Qualified
- Fluent in English (mandatory) and preferably French and/or German.
