Change Manager - Luxembourg
Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH
Skills and Experience:
- Technical knowledge in information systems
- Very good knowledge of project management principles, methods and practices
- Experience in managing large size projects (> 1000 man-days) within international financial companies
- At least 8 years of experience of managing multicultural teams and working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Ability to analyse and prepare requirement specifications with conceptual thinking
- Disciplined and systematic approach to planning and execution of work
- Ability to manage IT projects in financial/banking environment
- Strong capacity to understand and map business priorities and technical solutions.
- Project Management Certification, either Prince2 or PMP/PMI, or equivalent
- Experience within a big-4 or similar consulting firm or a major software house
- The below will be considered as advantage:
- Knowledge of financial products, loan and treasury administration
- Good knowledge of bespoke development
Description of work:
- Participate in workshops/discussions to understand project goals, business needs
- Analyze workflows, business processes, gaps and opportunities
- Draft Project Charters, including definition of project goals and objectives, list of main deliverables, implementation plan and efforts estimates
- Prepare high-level functional requirements
- Prepare test approach and test plan
- Prepare regular project progress reports and dashboards with business and IT counterparts
- Coordinate user acceptance testing
- Steering Committees/Project Team meetings, with corresponding follow up of decisions, action points etc.
- Cooperate with the Head of Unit to build and maintain the roadmap of a major IT program
