#### Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to steer our technological direction, aligning with strategic objectives and promoting innovation. This position offers a partially remote working option in Brussels, Belgium.

#### Key Responsibilities
- **Team Leadership:** Direct multiple Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to drive excellence in IT domains.
- **Process Management:** Establish an Architecture Review Board (ARB), leading governance through CoEs and working groups.
- **Innovation Promotion:** Champion innovation, especially in AI, within the Innovation CoE.
- **Strategic Alignment:** Align technology investments with the organization's strategic goals, influencing technology-related decisions.
- **Quality Assurance:** Ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices to maintain IT system and solution quality.
- **Decision-Making:** Act as a decisive body for architectural disputes, influencing the technological path of the company.
- **Project Scoping:** Organize and lead the ARB and contribute actively to CoEs.
- **Communication:** Exhibit exceptional communication skills, clearly conveying complex ideas to senior management and fostering teamwork.

#### Qualifications
- **Experience:** Significant experience in architectural roles, preferably as a CTO.
- **Education:** Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

#### Skills
- **Must-Have:** Expertise in Architecture and Enterprise Architecture.
- **Added Value Skills:** Experience with AI and innovative technologies.
- **Nice-to-Have:** Understanding of the judicial system.

#### Languages
- **Required:** Dutch
- **Nice-to-Have:** French or English
