Cisco Design Engineer, Nexus, Data Center, Miami.
A leading name in system integration require a Cisco Design Engineer (Data Centres and Nexus) for a 9-18 month period (most likely longer) in Miami Florida, The customer will pay travel w/I the US if the
candidate does not live in Miami or does not want to move to the location (Fly in and out weekly). The requirements and skill sets are a CCIE or CCDP type professional with Data Center skills.
The project is a Cisco Data network upgrade. The customer has the older, large Cisco 6500 devices and wants to upgrade to the newer Cisco Nexis devices. They need an engineer/architect to evaluate the existing load on the 6500's and design the requirements for the new Nexis environment. Analysis of space, routing, power, etc. to design the new data center data requirements and possibly support the deployment of the new upgraded products. The new products would be the Nexis 7000,5000 and 2000's so the engineer must know these newest products.
