CISCO NETWORK ENGINEER
Experis IT is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer for an assignment in Orange County, Ca. We are looking for a resource that can partner with colleagues and clients to plan, design, implement, operate and optimize Cisco solutions both existing and new.

POSITION SUMMARY
Partner with colleagues and clients to plan, design, implement, operate and optimize Cisco solutions both existing and new.
Specific Requirements:
- Switching & Routing
- Must be strong in Installation & configuration and VLAN
- Must have strong Firewall experience, Cisco and SonicWall preferred
- Must be strong in Wireless configuration
- Must be strong and experienced with configuration, troubleshooting and installations.
- Experience with circuits also preferred
- 5 years of experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Candidates will possess extensive knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, wireless solutions and firewalls.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks within the established scope, budget and timeline is critical while focusing on complex problem solving abilities and performing root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, TCP/IP, VLAN and WAN implementation and network security analysis, management and authentication.
- Client implementation experiences as project or technical lead and experience with delivering on service methodologies is a plus.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Qualified candidates will have 5 years of experience configuring and installing Cisco Routers and switches.
- Demonstrated high degree of initiative and self guided work management.
- Demonstrate strong desire to develop new technical knowledge and professional skills on a continual basis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey the proper message to both the Business and Technical audiences.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSES
- Cisco Certification at least CCNA
- MCSE, current
- BS or BS or equivalent experience
