Are you a Civil Site Manager looking for work?
We are working with an Engineering Consultancy who have a contract to provide personnel to one of the UK's leading offshore windfarm projects. Based in the East of the UK and working directly within the project owners organisation this is a key role to ensuring the successful delivery of the onshore packages of work.
With a contract to supply personnel to the project owner who are a major utility, you would be working via the Engineering Consultancy directly Embedded within the client's project organisation overseeing the Civil aspects of the onshore works including the onshore substation build.
As the Site Manager, your Key Tasks will be:
- Managing and delivering the Civil elements of the substation, and site works to meet the commercial conditions of the contract.
- Minimising delays and claims, to ensure that the project runs smoothly.
- Provide reports, including early warnings and variations to project timelines.
- Coordinate site activities in accordance with contractor's scope of work.
- Deliver safety communications on site, to ensure activities are being carried out safely.
- Act as point of contact for your relevant discipline area, organise contractors and perform the environmental and safety inspections.
You will already have:
- 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor on major Civils schemes, preferably Substations.
- Practical experience and awareness of CDM Regulations 2007.
