AZURE - CLOUD ARCHITECT ARNHEM | CONTRACT | AZUREWe are on the lookout for an experienced Cloud Architect with a focus on Azure, to join our client's efforts in the energy sector. In this pivotal role, you'll guide the development of our client's cloud platform, playing a key part in their IT migration projects towards Azure, contributing significantly to their cloud strategy and operational excellence.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 12 months with possible extension
- Work Location: Arnhem with hybrid working model; occasional travel required
Responsibilities:
- Leading the architectural development and continuous improvement of our Azure cloud platform.
- Providing strategic direction and technical guidance on application migrations to Azure.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including migration teams in the Netherlands and Germany, to align platform development with migration efforts.
- Engaging with IT leadership, operations stakeholders, and managed service providers to prioritize technical backlog items.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Profound knowledge of Azure services, architecture design, and best practices.
- Expertise in cloud services management, security, and compliance within Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
- Solid understanding of IT operations, service management, and managed services.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch language proficiency is a plus.
- Must reside within 1 hour of Arnhem and be capable of working at least 2 days per week in the office.
