Cloud Solution/Data Architect freelance (m/f)
Your tasks
- help in the positioning and choices of the administration, both in technical and governance matters
- translate this into an architecture and process with the infrastructure teams of CIRB and IRISnet and all other stakeholders
- list the assumptions and constraints (legal, technical, etc.)
- identify the needs
- identify all data flows involved
- define the main deliverables at the Back End and Front End levels
- take knowledge of the various initiatives in progress and to understand their technical aspects
- partner with the teams in place, be the bridge builder between client and its partners for the various projects in progress
- be able to justify and argue these choices (participation in meetings and working groups, writing notes, etc.), both internally and with the various stakeholders
- understand of the economic stakes related to the strategic stakes of data
- support the deployment of the Data Hub in Brussels: identification of use-cases, contacts with data suppliers, etc...
- train the teams in place
- process and analyze the data already available (in consultation with experts from the administration)
- create dashboards for certain use-cases
- ensure that the processes in the architecture reflect the mobility objectives
- prospect and do necessary research on developments in this area: innovations in the sector, OSLO, Open Mobility Foundation, Mobility Data, DG Move's ITS guidelines, etc..
Your Skills
- IT/DATA Architecture
- Mastery of the concepts of Datalake, Lakehouse, ...
- Concepts and methods ETL, ELT, Data Streaming, ...
- Data Governance
- Knowledge of Azure products
- API Architecture and Construction
- Mastery of Python and SQL languages
- Knowledge of the usual libraries for "data science" (pandas, numpy, ...)
- Knowledge of GIS concepts (Geographical Information System)
- Handling of standard formats (json, parquet, ...); you will have to deal with formats specific to the mobility sector: MDS, GBFS, GTFS, Netex, CurbLR, ...
- Given the many interactions internally and with partners, you must be comfortable in communication and negotiation
- Languages: French or Dutch is mandatory and knowledge of English is an asset
