Cloud Systems Engineer for a project in Luxembourg
For our client located in Luxembourg we are looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer.
Tasks:
- Setup of a system environment based on cloud software (Network, Security, Virtualization, Backup, ) for a Satellite Asset Management and Planning application
- Setup of the software platform (Linux, Java, Oracle, Application Server, )
- Setup of the deployment, monitoring and logging infrastructure (Insight, Hyperic)
- Parameterization, test and tuning of the system environment
- Documentation of the environment
Qualification:
- Application platform as a Service
- Virtualization concepts
- Monitoring and distributed logging
- Backup and restore
- Proxies, Firewalls
- Network configuration (Router, Switches)
- File share access
- Rich client, Application Server, Enterprise Service Bus
- Production, test and development environment definition
- Load balancing, failover
- Release management, software rollout techniques, deployment
- VMWare ESX Server
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Redhat Linux 6
- Tomcat 7, VMWare vFabric tcServer, Hyperic, Spring Insight
- Apache HTTP Server Load Bala ncing with mod_proxy
- Oracle database 11g (Workspace manager, Data guard configuration)
- Ability to document environments and procedures
Communication skills
- English fluent (spoken and written)
- German and/or French is a plus
