Collateral Manager
For a top tier investment bank - This Collateral Manager will provide specialist OTC Collateral Management support across all Investment Operations Middle Office Clients. The Collateral Manager will encompass all key processes and controls related to collateral management to ensure our clients credit/counterparty risk is mitigated on a daily basis.
The Collateral Manager will initially be required to drive and support the collateral management business to meet a specific client's expectations, and then to provide ongoing training and support to ensure near-shore team can deliver the same high service levels to any new client business.
Collateral Manager experience:
> 5yrs+ OTC Collateral Management experience. Preferably from a top tier investment bank and has had significant exposure to hedge fund client margin processing.
> Repo Collateral Management experience.
> Collateral experience should include:
-Collateral Agreement set up
-Data Quality and Control
-Margin call processing
-Collateral substitutions processing
-Collateral interest processing
-Dispute management
-Portfolio reconciliation
> Excellent understanding of Collateral related legal documentation ie CSA and CSD for OTC, GMRA for Repo
> Ability to prioritise, escalate and resolve valuation/trade population breaks in order to mitigate credit risk.
> Ability to communicate quickly and in detail with all internal departments so that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
> Comfortable in talking with both client and internal senior management around high impact collateral related issues
> ALGO (Collateral system) experience essential.
> Tri-Resolve (Reconciliation platform) experience.
> Proven ability in training of all aspects of the collateral management workflow
> Experience as either project manager or SME in collateral management UAT
