If you are an experienced Commercial Data Analyst looking for a contract opportunity with a fast paced company that is going places as well as a leading innovator in the mobile industry, then this is your chance!
The purpose of the role is to develop MS Excel templates, Pivot Tables and VBA Macros, taking ownership of business critical management information.
Commercial Data Analyst Key Responsibilities
- Develop new processes, quantitative procedures, reports and analysis, creating best practice and moulding the job around your skills.
- Provide support & advice on the efficiencies of our Excel based procedures and calculations, including VBA Macros, including maintaining data integrity.
- Develop MS Excel templates, Pivot Tables and VBA Macros, taking ownership of business critical management information.
- Pull together management information on commercial pricing/tariffs etc
- Analysis of bids in order to ensure profitability using standard business modelling techniques and PL to deliver clearly articulated and unambiguous profitability measures
- Provide thought leadership in how bids may be structured to both internal and external customers in order to drive incremental profitability including robust deal-by- deal analysis
- Use competitor and industry analysis and internal win/loss baselines to develop various commercial/financial alternatives for deals to help differentiate the company from its competitors thereby driving increased market share, revenue and profitability.
Commercial Data Analyst Key Experience
- Strong analytical decision making skills, including the ability to balance conflicting interests and make decisions based on incomplete or unreliable information and can structure and price deals to maximize profits
- Able to analyse problems, delivering practical and innovative solutions critical to business needs
- Having an eye for detail, but comfortable with making decisions using the 80/20 rule
- Advanced Excel (Pivot tables,VBA Look-ups)
