Communications Manager

My large public sector client is currently looking for a Communications Manager to work within a Digital Infrastructure Programme. The successful candidate will have a high level of expertise in integrated communications and a good understanding of the digital infrastructure environment.
The ideal candidate will come from a Public Sector or Utilities background.
Must be Disclosure Scotland cleared or be willing to apply before applying to the client.

*Leading on integrated communications campaigns
*Effective stakeholder engagement & partnership working across a broad range of sectors
*Able to work with third parties to ensure the communications going out works for all parties involved.
*Contractor management
*Tactical use of opportunities
*Audience segmentation and targeting through on and offline channels
*Development of appropriate evaluation measures
*Analysis of a range of analytics and research to inform and refine campaigns
*Develop separate strands of communication activity for business and consumer activities
*Deliver benefits-led messages on a 3 tier basis (national, local and hyper-local)
*Communicate progress on infrastructure roll out to stakeholders and communities
The contractor will have to work across Edinburgh and Glasgow, however there will also be the option of working from home at time.
