Role Communications Manager
Skills Severance and redeployment
Communications manager required by a leading retail bank based in the UK. The Comms Manager will be working on a large reduction and redeployment project that covers large parts of the bank.
Purpose of the role
- Co-ordinate all aspects of Comms activity - severance and redeployment - for the programme to provide a consistent approach across Operations to story-telling around projects directly impacting colleagues so they can understand progress towards a vision..
- The role would involve identifying, articulating and embedding key themes (eg around sites, systems and processes) into the narrative for local BAU by producing a common framework, in addition to driving and measuring these communications.
- Work with business units and HR across the bank to identify appropriate communications requirements and align to the HR activity for the impacted colleagues/business units.
- This role would require working closely with other key change programmes to enable and ensure the source of messaging for comms reflects the complete picture.
Core Skills
- Experience of Colleague Communications relating to Property moves/relocations of colleagues
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working on site consolidation programmes where there has been both an element of severance and redeployment into other areas of the business
Other information
- Candidate must be willing to travel as the programme covers multiple sites
