An incredibly opportunity within one of the world's leading Manufacture Client has been hand building cars for over a century are looking for Concept Engineer based in Crewe.
Role: Concept Engineer
Location: Crewe
Duration: End of Year
Status: Outside IR35
To provide CAD design to support Vehicle Concept investigations. Working with the Mulliner team to develop low volume vehicle concepts.
Scope of Job:
- Development of whole vehicle packages using CAD (Catia V5)
- Defining vehicle hard points using CAD, to support vehicle architecture
- Packaging of key systems throughout the vehicle using CAD
- Support of Interior and Exterior design
- Managing own data in a structure way through Catia V5 and LCA
Experience:
- Experience within Concepts or packaging, aimed more at body hardware and interior trim.
- Knowledge of Low Volume vehicle design and manufacturing
- Catia V5 is essential.
- Required to demonstrate a Concepts approach and be able to manage technical complexity
- Required to liaise cross functionally to integrate engineering requirements
- PC skills to include: Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Experience of Photoshop/Illustrator would be an advantage
