Description
For our client we are looking for a Developer to evolve the continuous integration system for our client's HDS 8000 Cloud platform.
Your role will include all development activities for the continuous integration system such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
The project has been going on already for few years and the project team includes two people.
Competence Required:
- Continious Integration Experience
- DevOps experience.
- Linux experience.
Responsibilities:
You will drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
Develop and test high quality products
Perform troubleshooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain
Key Qualifications for a Continuous Integration (CI), DevOps person
Self-directed, lean/agile mindset
Working practices: kanban, scrum
Developer skills
Scripting languages: bash/python/ruby/Perl/
Compiled languages: Java/c/C++
Linux sysadmin experience
Ansible & docker or similar
Release engineering skills
Build and test automation: jenkins
Version control, branching and merging, continuous integration: git
