Responsibilities
Assist team and participate in build, test, support and monitoring of continuous availability platform.
Essential
- Proven DevOps experience with configuration management experience ideally Ansible.
- Strong Linux skills
- Experience using Jenkins
- Good communication skills
- Worked in monitoring solution/implementation of highly available business critical system.
- Cloud Platform experience.
- Microservice experience
- Incident Management - hands on diagnosis of issues
Desirable
- Experience with industry standard toolsets, Jenkins, Jira, Git, etc.
- IBM/Softlayer experience
- Networking
- Akamai (GTM)
- Worked in Container environment (Docker)
- Cassandra knowledge
- Application performance management - familiar with some tools (APM a bonus), Netcool Omnibus, Slack.
- Agile Development environment
