Contract Manager - NHS Experience
Contract Manager with NHS experience required for a Public Sector client. The role is based in Leeds on a 5 month initial contract.
The Job:
- Liaise with the Procurement team to ensure a structured hand over of sourcing activity to a robust contract management approach for a specific number of contract areas
- Promote resilient and sustainable supplier performance through strong partnering relationships
- Ensure implementation of regular and robust supplier performance management reviews for a specific number of contract areas or groups of suppliers together with action plans which provide open, honest and timely communication to our suppliers
- Interface with all other services across NHSE for a specific number of contract areas or suppliers and ensure close alignment with Procurement Management and Business Partnering teams to facilitate contract establishment, mobilisation and performance monitoring
Experience Required:
- Good knowledge of leading practice supplier relationship management (SRM) principles, processes and practices including robust and thorough SRM implementation
- Strong stakeholder engagement in both NHS England and DH.
- Knowledge of Public Sector Procurement and contract management/SRM, specifically in Health
- Recognised as a contract management and supplier relationship management professional
- A resilient and tenacious approach to development of effective contract management and SRM programmes in a multi stakeholder environment
