Controls/ Signal Processing Engineer

C/C++/Matlab/Simulink - Permanent, Gloucestershire

Salary range £30,000 - £45,000 + very attractive benefits package.

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Southwest of England for a Controls/ Signal Processing Engineer in a leading global oil & gas company based in Gloucestershire. This company provides leading electronic equipment and services in the oil & natural gas well industry.

As the successful Controls/ Signal Processing Engineer, you will have a pivotal role within the organisation as you will be working alongside the electronics and firmware team to design and develop solutions for RSS tools. (Rotary Drilling Steering Systems)

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry and have a proven track record of design and development of control systems.

To be considered you will have most or all of the following :

- Understanding/ Experience of Digital signal processing
- Algorithm knowledge and understanding
- 5 or more years experience in control systems design and development
- Understanding of C, C++ or other programming skills e.g Matlab, Simulink.
- Ability to work within a multifunctional team
- Good communication and presentation skills at all levels.
