Our client are looking for a Corporate/Business Affairs Manager to join the team on an initial 6 month contract. Reporting into senior management you will be responsible for assisting with the management of strategic relationships to the organisation and management of the project agenda from both a stakeholder, governance and relationship point of view.

Throughout the programme of work, you will provide governance and business management expertise to the relationships of your organisation.

Key duties include:

  • Management of the business agenda
  • Management of all papers, activity and governance related to the agenda
  • Stakeholder management of internal contacts and contacts in related organisations
  • Manage/provide presentation materials, briefing papers, speeches and material for correspondence
  • Ensure Coordination of communications throughout the organisation

This role would suit someone with Corporate Communications/Business Affairs and stakeholder engagement experience. You'll ideally have experience in public sector, and experience in dealing with senior members of staff in a corporate level to assist in delivering their agenda.

As the role has a unique blend of duties, it could suit someone who has experience in some form of business affairs position, either as a Business Manager, Stakeholder Engagement Manager, or a Secretariat style position at a senior level.

This is not a project management position as you will not be delivering a project, rather you will be assisting senior management in the relationship management, stakeholder engagement and secretariat duties to the business.

The role is based in the Scottish Borders with excellent travel links to Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The role is based 50-60 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre.
