Seeking- CP Analyst (Compliance Analyst)

12 Month Contract

Hybrid- London

*Arrangement for the Working Days - Business are looking for a 3 days per week type of engagement with the possibility of 4 days for first few months

Responsible for contracting materials and/or services. Develop supply chain and contract strategies with the business within the boundaries of the overarching Category Strategy set by the Category Manager. Tender and negotiate contracts, invite and evaluate bids.

Clarify terms and conditions.

Award contracts.

Deliver Contract Management support to the Contract Holder.

Must have minimal 8 years of professional CP experience, with a preference for large, global organizational experience.

Experience with the subject Category/Market Sector.

Experience with the European Tender process.

Sound oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English.

The purpose of the role is to:
  • Responsible for the operating of the vendor master control to ensure that the business in the UK is not engaging directly with personal service companies.
  • Responsible for operating the GID control to ensure that suppliers providing contracts with GIDs have been assessed correctly for IR35 compliance
  • Ensuring all contractors who have physical access to our Upstream locations have been assessed correctly for IR35 compliance
  • Ensure all contracts are appropriately assessed in the IR35 Tool
  • Consolidate and maintain all data in an auditable manner
  • Document steps taken, recommendations and exceptions for future record keeping and potential HMRC audits.
  • Responsible for executing the training and communication plan
  • To be the custodian of the IR35 policy and the process documents
  • Maintain the IR35 assessment tool
  • Manage and be the first point of contact for the exceptions process
  • Support IR35 team in closing our open actions from the project phase

  • Have a good working understanding of IR35, including experience of managing processes and controls for ongoing IR35 compliance in a large organisation.
  • Have a good understanding of CP processes, especially Vendor Master and RtP processes.
  • Must show a passion for operational excellence.
  • Must show perseverance and not be easily fazed by adversity.
  • Is able to work with a wide range of stakeholders at differing levels of seniority both within CP and withing the contract holder community
  • Must be a quick learner and have a learner mind-set.
  • Must be able to manage their own workload by balancing different priorities
  • Enthusiasm, high energy and a team player
