Tangent is looking for an experienced Creative Artworker to work on a fixed-term 15 month contract from May 2013 to August 2014. The successful candidate will work solely on the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games brand and will be seconded to their headquarters in Glasgow City Centre for the duration of the contract.We are looking for an organised and committed artworker who can manage a wide range of fast-paced projects. A good team player, you must be willing to work hard and flexibly. Work will range from creating straightforward original design layouts to typesetting text-heavy manuals, guides, forms and reports and preparing artwork for print or online publication.
You should have a creative eye and the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency across multiple projects in the face of tight deadlines. You will be comfortable overseeing a Junior Designer in their day-to-day activities as well as fielding requests from internal clients.
