Credit Risk Analyst: - SAS - N.West - £40,000

Our Client, a rapidly expanding UK banking organisation are looking to expand their Credit Risk Division and are currently seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, experienced with SAS, to form part of their Mortgages Division.

Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk you will use your excellent working knowledge of SAS to provide meaningful analysis and model development across their mortgage portfolio's.

Role Requirements:

You will build and develop effective risk models using SAS to enhance portfolio monitoring and forecasts.

Provide mortgage portfolio analysis via risk scoring

Analyse and monitor data to develop strategies to mitigate risk/loses

Develop collections and pre-delinquency strategies where appropriate.

Prepare written reports and offer recommendations on the results of the analysis carried out.

Personal Profile:

You will have a strong working knowledge of SAS within retail banking credit risk.

Extensive Analytical experience, with an aptitude for data mining and problem solving using SAS.

You will have excellent written and communication skills in conducting verbal presentations and report writing.

A detailed knowledge of mortgages would be a distinct advantage, but not a necessity.

Package:

Salary up to £40,000 - dependant on experience

Performance related bonus incentive.
