IT Security Manager/Consultant
Due to continued business demand, my client based in Cork/Dublin is looking for an experienced IT Security Manager to build and take charge of cyber security strategies for the business.
Your responsibilities will include the development and organisation of the IT Security, providing specialist technical advice on security reviews and investigations relating to IT issues, events and incidents as well as being responsible for IT security awareness training. You will be required to build upon existing efforts and to enhance and mature the cyber security program in line with the business objectives.
Skills/Experience/Certifications Required
- CISSP or Similar Industry recognised certification
- Perimeter Security Controls Firewall, IDS/IPS, network access control and network segmentation
- Network Security Architecture Knowledge for development and definition of what is in place - Router, switch and VLAN security - Wireless
- Security - DNS, routing, authentication, VPN, Proxy services and DDOS mitigation technologies
- Knowledge/experience of third party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
Location - Cork/Dublin
Position - Contract (6 months - Strong Likelihood of extension )
Rate - Euros per Day
