Data Cleansing Business Analyst - Framingham, MA
This is a 6 month contract opportunity
Objective:
To lead an execution and validation of data cleansing activities for a PLM application implementation.
Goal:
To identify and lead efforts that provides data integrity during data migration leading to go-live of a PLM application implementation. This will require data analysis, leading cross functional teams to formalize plans and validating the data at multiple milestones during the implementation project. Scope:
Data Cleansing:
Collaborate with internal Client team to understand abnormalities in current data and define a strategy for cleansing where the data will fit into the new process data model. Once the strategy is defined, approved and validated we will begin cleansing of data in the current production system and or staging databases. The volume of data and effort is currently undetermined, but will consist of parts, bills of materials, documents and CAD documents existing in a Windchill Foundation and Teamcenter PDM system.
Validation:
Assist the Client team in validation of any data cleansing activities. This position will be responsible for resolving any related issues that occur during validation.
Job Requirements:
The resource must be a junior level consultant having performed similar data migration exercises multiple times and have extensive engineering product data management experience.
The resource should have an engineering background and the following credentials:
2-3 years Data Migration/Cleansing Experience a must
3-5 years Engineering experience with focus on data management
Great written and verbal skills a must
Ability to lead teams and work with business users
PTC Windchill knowledge a must
Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Access skills
