Project Overview
Our client is supporting a global sensor manufacturer. The project sits within a department responsible for ensuring that data generated by production and operational resources can be used for dashboards and detailed analysis. The goal is to support the monitoring and optimisation of production processes.
The underlying data platform has evolved over time. Older pipelines are based on Apache NiFi, and data is stored in databases that are, in some cases, outdated. These are being gradually migrated to the current platform using Snowflake and dbt.
To support this work, the client is seeking a Data Engineer with expert-level Apache NiFi skills to join the team onsite in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level Apache NiFi expertise
- Work within an environment where existing pipelines are based on Apache NiFi
- Support a data landscape that enables dashboards and detailed analysis of production and operational data
- Be involved in an environment where older pipelines and databases are being migrated to a platform using Snowflake and dbt
Required Skills
Must Have
- Expert-level Apache NiFi experience
Desirable
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with dbt
Project Environment
- Production and operational data used for dashboards and detailed analysis
- Existing Apache NiFi-based pipelines
